Telephone Workshop

Feeling tired, overwhelmed, or isolated because of your diabetes? The Diabetes PATH program gives you the tools to feel better. You will learn how to:

  • Make healthier food choices
  • Be active for better blood sugar level management
  • Deal with frustration, fatigue, and difficult emotions
  • Talk with family, friends, and healthcare providers about your health

Program benefits may include:

  • Increased physical activity which can lead to better energy levels
  • Improved ways to talk to healthcare providers and family
  • Better quality of life

This workshop is free for Michigan residents. Family members, friends, and caregivers are encouraged to attend with you.

The telephone workshop meets for 1 hour weekly for 6 weeks. You must have a telephone to attend this workshop. When you register, you agree to attend all six sessions, if possible. Please let your facilitator know if you are going to be absent.
