Join us for our 1-hour virtual lunch and learn Spring 2024 Sustainability Speakers Series to hear from a diverse lineup of speakers addressing critical sustainability and environmental topics. The speaker series will include experts from Extension, business, academia, government, communities and more.

Inflationary Reduction Act: Funding for Sustainable Energy Upgrades - Speaker: Dr. Erica Tobe, MSU Extension
This session will cover legislation aimed at curbing inflation through strategic economic measures and financial allocation to support the enhancement of energy systems for long-term sustainability.

Composting - Speaker: Megan Alexander, Carter's Compost
This session will highlight Carter's Compost's collection and delivery service utilizing bicycles with trailers to transport food scraps from kitchens to nearby composting sites.

This session will focus on increasing your understanding of the food system and strategies to reduce household food waste, or your “FOODPRINT”, on the environment.
