Kitchen Brigade 4-H SPIN Club

May 5 - June 23, 2021
4 - 5 p.m. ET

Online via Zoom Meeting

ABOUT THE CLUB: During the Kitchen Brigade SPIN Club, youth will learn about cooking and nutrition by cooking alongside a chef and a dietitian from 4-5 p.m. EST, Wednesdays from May 5 until June 23. Recipes will include a Michigan salad, marinara sauce, potato soup, ratatouille, and stir fry. We will end the club with a Chopped-style desert competition. Thanks to a generous gift from Sparrow Hospital, participants will receive ingredients delivered to their door every week! Participants can also safely pick up a supply kit with cooking utensils and chef gear before our first meeting! Instructions for contactless pick-up will be provided after registration. Space is limited to the first 20 registered members!

This club will meet virtually via Zoom (both computer and smartphone accessible) every Wednesday for eight weeks. Zoom Meetings will be limited to youth who have enrolled on 4-H Online (4-H Online Link) for the club (club is listed under Eaton County: SPIN club Kitchen Brigade). Access information, including meeting links/passwords, the ingredients, and recipes will only be emailed to those who have enrolled on 4-H Online. Failure to enroll may result in you not receiving email updates or removal of the club.

If you are new to 4-H and not sure how to enroll, please click on this video link which will show you step by step how to enroll. There is no membership fee to be a Michigan 4-H Member for the 2020-2021 program year.

For existing 4-H members, please make sure you have re-enrolled for the 2020-2021 program year. Here is a video link to show you how to re-enroll for this program year.

The online meetings will be held using Zoom and the meeting details will be emailed on the morning of May 3.
