Learn how to successfully and safety use a steam canner for high acid foods such as jams and jellies, fruits, fruit sauces, pickles and acidified tomatoes. This will be a demonstration and hands on style class and will provide you with handouts and resources to reference.

The cost of the class is $20.00. Registrations for SNAP participants will be waived upon verification at check-in.
This class will be taught by Jeannie Nichols and Leatta Byrd, food safety educators with Michigan State University Extension.
