Are you interested in starting a commercial food business based on your favorite recipes, or as a value-added agriculture product? Perhaps you would like to go beyond the limits of the Michigan Cottage Food Law and become licensed. This session will focus on basic food processing, licensing and other legal requirements, marketing, business planning, and related topics. The class will be taught by MSU Product Center Innovation Counselor, Diane Longanbach.
Cost: $20 per person
(Parking in back; enter through the north doors of the complex.)
Cancellation Fee: Cancellations received after Oct. 18, 2019 will be assessed a $10 cancellation fee.
