Emergency Response for Accidents Involving Livestock

This one-day training will focus on the different areas that are needed to have a proper response to accidents involving livestock. This includes managing the scene of an accident, organizing volunteers and working to ensure human health, public safety and animal welfare. Participants will learn about extrication of trapped animals, management of the rollover accident site, chain of command, response to injured animals, animal behavior and humane euthanasia.

Cost: $75.00 per person/$50.00 per person for groups of 3 or more from the same organization - full day; includes meals, snacks and resources

  • Transfer to rescue trucks
