2019 CHRONIC PAIN PATH Leader Training 

Be a Chronic Pain Leader on the PATH (Personal Action Towards Health) to a Healthier Lifestyle.

Learn how to facilitate the Chronic Pain PATH Self-Management Program, a six -week course for individuals who have, or who are caring for someone with chronic pain. This International Evidence-Based, Disease Prevention Program was developed by Stanford University on the belief that individuals can manage their chronic health condition(s) and live a healthier lifestyle.

Training Topics Include:
- ways to deal with frustration
- manage medications
- ways to talk to family and friends about chronic pain
- using the power of the mix

There is no cost to attend this training and the materials will be provided. Lunch will be provided.

Signed instructor letter of commitment required.

Lodging resrevations for the training if needed, can be made through the training room block located at the Towne Place Suites Novi located at 42600 W 11 Mile Road, Novi, MI  48375. Room nights are available from 8/11-8/14. Please call the hotel directly 1(800) 257-3000 or (248) 305-5533 on or before Monday, July 22, 2019 and reference the Michigan State University Path Training room block to recieve the group rate. When making your room reservation you will be asked for a credit card to hold the reservation. Upon check-in your room charges will be directed Michigan State's master bill and no charges will be sent to the credit card used for the reservation hold. Should you need to cancel please do so within the alloted time listed on your reservation cancellation policy. Should you not cancel within the alloted time or no-show your room charges will be directed to the card on hold. All reservation changes should be made directly with the Towne Place Suites-Novi.
