Workshop Ends: Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, 1:30 p.m. after lunch
$99 - 4-H members, 4-H volunteers and MSU Extension staff with 4-H responsibilities who bring a volunteer leader or member
$195 - MSU Extension staff who attend without a volunteer or member, non-4-H members and personnel from other agencies
Persons canceling without a replacement by Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, will be charged a $35.00 cancellation fee. Persons who do not show up at the workshop, do not have a replacement, or do not cancel to ANR Event Services at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours (Feb. 24, 2016) prior to the start of workshop will be billed the full registration fee.
Who Should Attend?
4-H members age 12-19 (as of January 1) and volunteers interested in Michigan 4-H Horse Programs. This workshop is designed for BOTH youth and adult leaders who are involved with county 4-H Horse Programs. Topics include horse judging, equine first aid, dissection, veterinary care, equine massage, saddle fit, American Horsemen’s Challenge, judges’ roundtable, and information to assist leaders in youth development, leadership skills for youth, youth activities, and opportunities beyond a county program. Interaction with leaders from different counties is encouraged, for exchanging of ideas and programs and meeting other volunteers in the same interest area.
