USDA Rural Development Value-Added Producer Grant Workshop

This webinar will provide an overview of the USDA Value-Added Producer Grant program, which was released on Jan. 15, 2026. The VAPG helps agriculture producers fund value-added activities to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and increase producer income.  The VAPG can support activities that could include generating business and marketing plans, funding working capital to support value-added production, product development and/or market expansion. You must fit into one of the 4 types of producer categories to be eligible for this grant. 

USDA will accept grant applications until the grant period closes on April 15, 2026
