Michigan 4-H Livestock Workshop 2026

Join Michigan 4-H for the 2026 Michigan 4-H Livestock Workshop. This one-day workshop will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026, on MSU’s main campus in East Lansing. It is designed for 4-H youth and volunteers in beef, sheep, goats, and swine project areas. Youth will learn about different aspects of their livestock projects throughout a variety of breakout sessions. Session topics include intro to your species project, animal evaluation, marketing your livestock project, large animal medicine, nutrition, and more!
The 2026 Michigan 4-H Livestock Workshop is open to youth ages 12-19 (as of Jan. 1, 2026) and active Gold-Level 4-H volunteers. Space will be limited to 100 people: 85 youth and 15 volunteers.
Activities will take place in Anthony Hall (474 South Shaw Ln East Lansing, MI 48824). Free parking will be available all day Saturday in lots 40 and 41. Please see the MSU campus map for parking locations.
COST: $35 per participant (includes lunch and a t-shirt)
Cancellations after Feb. 17 are non-refundable.

- Large Animal Medicine
- Dairy Goat Judging and Evaluation
- County Idea Exchange
- All adult 4-H volunteer participants will attend this breakout session.
