Berrien County 4-H: SOLD Making the Most out of Your Fair Auction

The SOLD: Making the Most out of Your Fair Auction kit is designed to assist youth with getting ready for their local exhibition auction. Grow the potential profit of your 4-H market and auction project through a variety of marketing and communication strategies that will give you a leg up on your competition. 

Activities include: 

  • DIY Thank You Note - 7 Steps to Create a Good Thank You
  • How to Avoid a Communication Catastrophe 
  • DIY Buyer's Thank You Gift
  • DIY Buyer's Thank You Poster 
Each kit includes customization for project specifics. Youth can select up to three (3) project areas to customize their kit when registering. Customization selections are as follows: 
  • Beef
  • Sheep
  • Swine
  • Goat
  • Rabbit
  • Chicken
  • Turkey
  • Expressive Arts
Who: Open to youth ages 5 - 19 years as of Jan. 1, 2024, 4-H Clubs and Independent Fair Groups 

Cost: Free

Registration by contacting the Berrien County MSU Extension Office at 269-927-5674 or online through this registration form. Deadline to register is Aug. 1, 2024 or until full. There is a limited number of kits available on a first come, first serve basis until gone. Kits are scheduled to be distributed at the beginning of June 2024.
