This 4-H Orienteering event is a fun, interactive event open to youth and their families that combines a traditional orienteering course with a dog-friendly experience. Participants complete a standard orienteering activity, using a map and compass to navigate to a series of checkpoints, while bringing their dog along with them. (Dogs are required to be on leash for event.)
Youth and families move at their own pace as they practice navigation skills, basic dog handling, and teamwork. This low-pressure, outdoor event is designed to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and family engagement while enjoying time outside with your dog.
Cost: $5, cancellations after May 1st will not be refunded. Please register at least one youth and accompanying adult per group.
