Exploring with Scientists: Turtle Adventures! Join graduate student Caleb at MSU’s Kellogg Bird Sanctuary for a fun, hands-on program all about Michigan turtles. Designed for upper elementary and middle school students, this free 1.5-hour session includes building turtle habitats, tracking turtle movements, meeting live turtles, and exploring how scientists in the Janzen Lab study turtles and their environments. After the program, families can enjoy self-guided crafts, play, and storytime in the Overlook. Registration is suggested but not required.
Free for members; non-members may pay admission at the door.
