Great Lakes Fruit Workers Annual Conference 2025

We hope you will join us for this two-day in-person opportunity to learn from each other and continue to build connections that strengthen the fruit research and extension community of professionals in our region. 

The conference program will include:

  • A welcome reception on November 17.
  • Educational sessions (10 min talks and posters) and a banquet with a keynote talk on November 18.
  • A tour of local farms and an MSU Fruit research station, ending with a regional beverage tasting and light snacks before the bus brings everyone back to Grand Rapids on November 19.

 

We invite you to submit presentation title(s), names of co-authors, and a draft abstract by September 1st to be considered for a 10 min talk or poster presentation on November 18. Any topics related to research or extension in fruit, nut, or hop production within the Great Lakes region is fair game. A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Embassy Suites Downtown Grand Rapids (room block link below). The deadline for hotel reservations and meeting registrations is October 18.
