Giving & Receiving Feedback - GLLA Leadership Intensive

Dec 15, 2026
9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET

Zoom Facilitation

This session explores feedback as a core leadership practice — shifting from judgment or avoidance to a more grounded, growth-oriented approach. Participants learn how to communicate observations clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and create conversations that support reflection and development rather than defensiveness.

Through guided practice, individuals build confidence in both giving and receiving feedback. The session emphasizes how to depersonalize feedback, stay focused on learning, and use these conversations to strengthen trust, improve performance, and support others in taking ownership of their growth.

What you’ll gain:

• Practical tools to give feedback that is clear, respectful, and actionable
• Increased comfort receiving feedback as a tool for your own growth
• Skills to ask questions that promote reflection, ownership, and development
• Greater confidence navigating feedback conversations with others
