Earn ServSafe® certification with help from MSU Extension.
MSU Extension offers ServSafe® Manager Training and Certification, which is a national certification program. This class is designed for anyone working in the foodservice industry, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and non-profit organizations.
Certification exam is taken at the end of the day. Participants must receive a 70% score on the exam to earn certification. ServSafe® printed exams are available in French Canadian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Lunch is on your own.
Registration Information
The cost of the training is $75 per person and does not include the cost of the ServSafe® Manager 9th edition book.
ServSafe Book Textbook Requirement - Must Purchase Separately
You must have a ServSafe® Manager 9th edition book that contains an answer sheet to take the class and the exam. After registering for this class, you will receive a confirmation message that includes options to purchase a ServSafe® 9th edition book that includes an answer sheet. Please get your book and read before attending class.
Instructors
Classes are taught by MSU Extension educators, who are certified instructors and exam proctors through the National Restaurant Association.

Accommodations
Reasonable modifications/accommodations for program access, including alternative formats formaterials, and auxiliary aids for effective communication will be provided to participants at no cost. Requests may be submitted by filling out the box below or by emailing the event contact using the email address provided on the event registration and/or confirmation page at least two weeks prior to the event. Requests received less than two weeks prior to the event date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and provided when reasonable.
