2024 Michigan Inland Lakes Convention: Working Together for Healthy Lakes

This year's convention is a joint event with the Michigan Clean Water Corps (MiCorps), our statewide volunteer lake and stream monitoring program. Included in the three-day in-person event will be a variety of presentations, exhibitors, and abundant opportunities for discussion and networking.

Abstract Submission Details

Submission deadline for abstracts and session proposals: 11:59 p.m. ET on May 19, 2024.

All abstracts and proposals must be submitted through this website using the links below.

The title of the abstract must not exceed 100 characters.

Abstracts must not exceed 250 words.

Speakers are expected to present in person and presentations will not be recorded or virtually available.

Michigan Inland Lakes Partnership does not endorse specific products or services. Presentations should avoid promoting an individual company or selling a product.

Request for Individual Talks, Lightning Talks, or Workshops
Please use this process if you are submitting an individual talk, lightning talk, or workshop abstract.
  • Individual talks are 30 minutes long and will be organized into sessions according to topic. 
  • Lightning talks are 5 minutes long and will be presented in a single session. 
  • Workshops are interactive/hands-on events that can be 1.5 or 3 hours.

Request for 90-Minute Sessions
Please use this process to submit a 90-minute session proposal.
  • A 90-minute session is made up of three 30-minute presentations organized into a coherent, themed session. 
  • The session proposal form requires that you submit all three presentation abstracts at one time
