2025-26 MSU Tollgate Farm and Education Center School and Community Program Reservation Form

Bring your group to Tollgate Farm!

Visits to Tollgate Farm are interactive, educational, and fun! We offer a range of different programs all about the different aspects of environmental education.
Programs are $14/per person (children and adults). One adult may attend free for every 19 paid participants.

To book a program:
  • Choose a program for you and your group to enjoy!
  • Complete this reservation form.
  • Within two weeks (usually sooner), a staff member will reach out for the next steps of finalizing a reservation.
  • We will hold time slots up to two weeks until payment is received.
  • We allow for a maximum of 80 participants per time slot. Larger groups may book multiple dates or times.
Once your trip is confirmed and how to prepare:
  • Final head count and full payment are due 14 days before your scheduled experience.
  • You will get a confirmation email with all of your information. This includes a welcome letter, map of the farm, and parking information.
  • If directed in your confirmation email, divide your participants into smaller groups with a maximum of 20 per group.
  • Dress for the weather! The majority of our programs are outside. In cases of extreme weather, rotations can be moved indoors.
  • If you have booked lunch at the Farm, bring lunches to enjoy in our barn or pavilion.
  • We accept checks made payable to "Michigan State University" or payment by credit card via Cashnet through invoice. Cash will not be accepted.
Once you arrive to the farm:
  • Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your program to give everyone time to get settled into their groups before the program begins.
  • Place lunches in barn upon arrival.
  • Participate in a 10-minute large group orientation.
  • Rotate through four 25-minute interactive rotations and a 10-minute conclusion led by an educational leader!
  • Enjoy lunch in our historic barn or outside under our pavilion.
  • Go for a 30-minute self-guided tour if you would like to continue your stay!
