On-Farm Research Field Day— Southwest Michigan

Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024
9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Covered Bridge Farm
56705 Covered Bridge Rd.
Three Rivers, MI 49093

Collaborative on-farm research with growers, commodity groups, Michigan State University, and MSU Extension has been an important part of establishing local best management practices throughout the years. Research results are available to growers to help them make informed decisions as they navigate crop challenges. This field day will give participants the opportunity to learn and review management practices established from past years of research and to view some of the current research plots, including trials on planting rate and vole damage in soybeans.

The field day will start at the Covered Bridge Farm for educational sessions in the morning. After lunch, participants will carpool to two on-farm research sites and remain at the second site for the interactive pivot performance evaluation.

Thanks to the Michigan Soybean Committee and the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), this event is free of charge. Lunch will be provided.
