The workshop will include tours of aquaculture facilities at Tom Ridge Environmental Center and other nearby facilities, along with information on how to run a successful aquaponics set up, and how to utilize aquaculture and aquaponics in the classroom. There will be several hands-on labs throughout the event and educators will walk away with a free small scale aquaponics system that we will build as part of the workshop. Participants will also receive a $250 stipend that can be used to offset travel or to purchase classroom equipment.
