SLEEP: Sleep Education for Everyone Program

What: Six - 1/2 hour Sessions

During six (30-minute) sessions, we will share information that can help you improve how much and/or how well you sleep. Each week you will be given a sleep challenge to try, so you can track the effectiveness of changing your sleep behaviors. 6 Sessions (30 minutes each)

Sleep Topics:

Week 1 - Sleep Basics
Week 2 - Sleep Hygiene
Week 3 - Stimulus Control Therapy
Week 4 - Mindfulness
Week 5 - Physical Activity
Week 6 - Sleep Myths

  • Each module includes a short 2-3 minute educational video designed to deliver key concepts.
  • The rest of the time is spent discussing the topics, brainstorming solutions to possible obstacles to improving sleep, and goal setting.
  • This is an interactive course, and your participation is appreciated.

Cost: There is no cost for the workshop. The program is supported financially by Michigan State University Extension.
