SNAP-Ed Facilitation Training

This training will support SNAP-Ed staff in building facilitation skills needed to engage community partners in creating and fostering public health supports by improving their policies, systems, and environments that promote healthy lifestyles. Technology of Participation (ToP) trainers will assist staff in understanding the landscape of facilitation, engage strategies that focus conversations, assist partners in developing their vision for change, and building alignment. The ToP trainers have worked extensively with SNAP-Ed staff across the country and understand PSE coaching.

There will be four trainings offered throughout the state between May and September 2024.  Staff are encouraged to identify a training that is closest to their home and fits their schedule.  It is an expectation that all SNAP-Ed staff participate in one training.
