Fairytale Garden Workshop

The Fairytale Garden Workshop is a creative, hands on gardening experience designed for both children and adults. Participants will learn the basics of container gardening and miniature gardening, including simple plant care, soil selection, and design principles.

After a brief instructional portion, participants will design and plant their own fairytale garden using a container, live plants, and decorative elements. Each garden is a unique creation inspired by imagination and storytelling.

This workshop is perfect for:

  • Children attending with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver
  • Families creating together
  • Adults who enjoy creative gardening projects
Age Recommendation: Best suited for ages 6 and up. An assisting adult should accompany younger children.

Participants may register as:

  • Garden Creator $30 – the person who will make one fairytale garden container
  • Garden Assistant $5 – a child or adult helping a Garden Creator (no separate container)

All materials and guidance are provided. No prior gardening experience is required.

Registration closes May 4, 2026, or when the workshop is full.

Payment by Credit Card: via the secure MSU payment site. Debit cards requiring a PIN are not accepted. To ensure your transaction is processed, please enter your personal information exactly as shown on the credit card and do not include dashes or spaces when entering your credit card number. Upon completion of the payment process, you will see a screen showing transaction approval and will receive a receipt showing $0 balance.  

Your seat is not reserved until your balance is paid in full.

Refund Policy:

  • A full refund, less a $10 processing fee, will be issued for any registration cancelled up to 7 days before the event you selected.
  • No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled within 7 days of the event you selected. No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled after the webinar or workshop has started.
  • Substitutions allowed.
