2024 Smart Gardening Conference - Vendors

The 2024 MSU Extension Smart Gardening Conference will be held on Saturday March 9th in the atrium at the Wayne County Community College Ted Scott Campus in Belleville. MSU Extension has a long history with hosting this conference in previous years and has had a wide reach with its audience including beginning home gardeners, landscape professionals, and experience plant and gardening enthusiasts.

Exhibit space: Each exhibit space comes with two 5' tables and two chairs. If more space is needed, you may register for additional tables and space. Exhibit space will be assigned by MSU Extension staff on a first-come-first serve basis. Your table(s) will be clearly labeled with your company name and your company will be listed in the program. Electrical outlets are limited so please let us know in your registration if an outlet is required for your display. We will do the best we can to accommodate your needs.

Exhibit fee: The fee for two 5' tables with two chairs is $100 and additional tables (and space) are $40 each

Door prize donation: To make the conference more fun and encourage attendees to return to their seats on time, we hold door prize drawings after breaks and lunch. We would appreciate it if you could donate a small item as a door prize. 

Sponsorship: We ask that you consider being a sponsor for this conference which offers additional recognition for your company. When registering, you will find more details about the sponsorship levels and can make your selection at that time. We thank you in advance for your support!

Vendor set up:
Saturday March 9th at 7:00 a.m.  

Conference times: While the conference begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 9th, attendee check-in will open at 8 a.m. We recommend you are at your table(s) when the check-in opens as well as during breaks and lunch time. The conference will end at approximately 5 p.m. and all participants must be out of the building by 6 p.m.

Lunch: During registration, yo
u have the option to order a box lunch for the two people at your table. Lunches will not be available to purchase at the conference. You may also bring your own lunch or purchase it outside the facility. There are various restaurants about 7 minutes away by car.  

Vendor registration and payment: Deadline is Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, or until full.

  •     Payment by Credit Card: Recommended at this secure MSU payment site to expedite your reservation.  
  •     Payment by check: Please allow 10 business days for check processing.  
  •     Your space is not reserved until your balance is paid in full.
  •     You will receive a confirmation email once you have registered and your balance is paid in full.

 Refund Policy

  • A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be issued for any registration cancelled prior to registration closing.
  • No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled after registration closing.
This event will not be cancelled unless the facility closes.
