    GLLA presents Lunch and Leadership:
Planning, Transforming, and Impacting Michigan Communities with Andrea Brown

The February Lunch and Leadership Program will feature Andrea Brown, Executive Director of the Michigan Association of Planning (MAP). The MAP provides information, education and advocacy that support quality community planning. Ms. Brown is responsible for the development of MAP’s land use and planning policy; for advancing MAP’s legislative agenda in Lansing; and for developing relationships and partnerships, forming coalitions, and working closely with other land use leaders, state agencies, and non-profits. During the session, Ms. Brown will share insights regarding the leadership skills and principles she embraces in her work as well as the leadership challenges she has experienced working across public and private sectors. This will be a valuable opportunity to learn first-hand from a prominent leader within the planning community.

Michigan State University is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities.
