2026 Seed Treatment Webinars
Two separate webinars on seed treatment topics will be offered via Zoom. Cost is $10 per webinar, or $20 for both webinars. Two RUP (1A, 4, and Private) and CCA credits have been requested per webinar.
Session 1: August 25th, 12-2 p.m.
This session with Rick Smith of KSI International will cover seed treatment equipment maintenance and best practices. MSU Extension educators Nicolle Ritchie and Jenna Falor will present on PPE, pesticide exposure, and first aid.
Session 2: September 1, 6-8 p.m.
This session with Marty Chilvers, MSU field crops pathologist, will cover fungicide seed treatment product efficacy and best practices. MSU Extension educators Nicolle Ritchie and Jenna Falor will present on seed treatment application rate, carriers, and colorants.
2026 Seed Treatment Workshop - In Person
Sept. 3, 2026, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Held at Tuscola County MSU Extension (362 Green St, Caro, MI 48723), this event will provide in-person education on several seed treatment related topics.
Four RUP (1A, 4, and Private) and CCA credits have been requested. The cost is $20 per person, and lunch is provided. Since there are costs such as food associated with the in-person event, we will be unable to give a refund for cancellations after Monday, August 31st.
