Assistance Animals in Action - A Virtual 4-H SPIN Club

Thursday evenings in October and November
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. ET

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between service dogs, therapy animals, and emotional support animals? During this six-week virtual SPIN club, we will take a deep dive into all things assistance animals.

Learn more about how animals, especially dogs, can “lend a paw” to help people! Throughout this program, you’ll learn about the human-animal bond, zooeyia, and the work of three types of assistance animals. Find out how they are trained, the amazing things they do, and the best ways to interact with these incredible animals.

October 3   The Human-Animal Bond

October 10   What is the Difference between the Assistance?
