Lakeshore Art Chase

June 26 & June 27, 2021

Muskegon 4-H & the Lakeshore Art Festival invites all guests who visit the Lakeshore Art Festival in Muskegon, MI to participate in a new and fun scavenger hunt, the Lakeshore Art Chase! Families, individuals or teams can complete missions for points during their visit to the festival that will take them to the various art pieces throughout Downtown Muskegon, to the fine art and craft exhibitors and various other sites within the festival footprint, all while encouraging participants to use their collective brain power to solve riddles! The Lakeshore Art Chase scavenger hunt will start at 9 a.m. on June 26 and will end at 3 p.m. on June 27.

The scavenger hunt will be played using the GooseChase app. Any guest can download the GooseChase app to their phone or tablet. Please download and register yourself in the app first so that upon registering for the Lakeshore Art Chase you will be able to list the username you already created in the GooseChase app. User names in the app that do not match this registration username will not be eligible for prizes. Inappropriate usernames will not be allowed entry into the game.

Teams who complete enough missions to reach 2000 points will be placed in a drawing to win prizes. Prizes will be mailed to winners home or will be available for pick up at the Muskegon County MSU Extension office.

This program is free.

COVID19 UPDATE: We are planning for an in-person program in June. However, we continue to monitor the evolution of the pandemic and how this might impact the event. We will decide as to whether it is necessary to postpone or change the format of the event prior to June. This decision will be based on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendations/guidelines from MSU, the State of Michigan, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local Health Department guidance. You will be contacted regarding any changes or updates through the email you use to register.

As a condition of attending a Michigan State University (MSU) Extension program, all staff, contractors, vendors and participants are required to follow the MSU Community Compact.
