MSU Extension educators present food safety topics for volunteers and staff working in food pantries and food banks. This training covers the topics of hand-washing, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing, receiving food and produce, storing food, re-packaging, and legal issues. Participants have a choice of registering for our 3-hour training that combines sessions 1 and 2 or registering for two 1-1/2 hour trainings. 

Participants who complete both sessions 1 & 2 will receive a pantry food safety training certificate.

This is a FREE workshop taught by an experienced MSU Extension food safety educators.
