INKED: The Science and Global History of Tattoos

ABOUT THE CLUB:
INKED: The Science and Global History of Tattoos is a 6-week virtual 4-H youth program focusing on researching different aspects of tattoos, cultures, and art. During the meetings, we will be having group discussions, at home hands-on science experiments, youth will be asked to do at home research, designing their own tattoo and more. They will also be hearing from guest speakers.
This club will meet virtually via Zoom (both computer and smartphone accessible) every Wednesday for 6 weeks (6 total meetings). Zoom Meetings will be limited to youth who have registered for the club. Access information, including the meeting's link/password, the material list, and other information, will only be emailed to those who have registered.

If you are new to 4-H and not sure how to enroll, please click on this video link which will show you step by step how to enroll. There is no membership fee to be a Michigan 4-H Member for the 2020-2021 program year. Holly Mueller will also be emailing you on how to enroll in this specific club. While enrolling, please make sure your home county is the primary county and add this club by selecting “Bay County” and scroll down until you see INKED: The Science and Global History of Tattoos.
EXISTING 4-H MEMBERS:
For existing 4-H members, if you are enrolled or plan to re-enroll for the 2020-2021 program year. Here is a video link to show you how to re-enroll for this program year. While re-enrolling, you may add this club by selecting “Bay County” and scroll down until you see INKED: The Science and Global History of Tattoos.
As a reminder, there will be no participation fees collected for the current program year so there is no cost to re-enroll, though some specific events may continue to have registration fees.
The online meeting will be held using the app called Zoom and the link/password for the meeting will be emailed 1-2 business days once you are registered for the club.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE: Any youth between the ages of 14 - 19 should join the INKED: The Science and Global History of Tattoos.
