Mindfulness for Better Living Online One Time Workshops
Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally. Research has shown that practicing mindfulness is effective in reducing stress-related symptoms such as worry, depression and physical tension, and may be helpful in managing chronic conditions. Mindfulness for Better Living includes a suite of one-time workshops to help people learn ways to use mindfulness to manage everyday stress.

Mindfulness for Parents and Caregivers This workshop is designed to introduce basic mindfulness concepts, activities and publications to parents and caregivers of young children.
Teaching Kids Mindful Eating Learn benefits of eating with mindful awareness, increase awareness in portion sizes for children and learn about competent eating.
Mindfully Feeding Infants and Toddlers During this workshop, participants will explore research on parenting styles, mindfulness and temperament and learn how those factors can lead to responsive feeding of infants and toddlers.
Mindful Educators Mindful Educators is a workshop for teachers in elementary through high school. Participants will get an introduction to mindfulness and learn ways to build their own mindful practice.

What is anger? This lesson includes defining anger and learning to recognize your own anger triggers.
Calming Down and De-Stressing This lesson includes ways to calm down during everyday anger and stress situations.
Six Principles of Problem Solving This lesson includes skills to begin to work on problem solving during conflict.
Forgiving and Letting Go of the Past This lesson includes ways to begin to explore forgiveness.
