IAT New Student Connect Day

Hey future Spartan! 
Get ready to kick off your MSU IAT journey at New Student Connect Day! This event is your chance to connect with other incoming Fall 2025 students, meet IAT staff, and get all the info you need to start strong. Plus, your biggest cheerleaders—family and friends—are invited too!

What to expect:

• Meet your program coordinator and learn what role they’ll play in your success as a Spartan

• Attend informational sessions on student life, financial aid, career services, study abroad, and more

• Explore campus landmarks and get to know the go-to spots for students

• Grab your MSU ID, hit the bookstore, and get a taste of the MSU Dairy Store’s legendary ice cream (for free of course!)

You’ll walk away with new friends, key resources, and everything you need to feel confident and ready for the fall semester. We can’t wait to meet you—Go Green! 

This is a free event for new IAT students and their supporters.

What to Expect for the Day:

9 - 10 a.m.: Check in  
10 - 11 a.m.: Welcome Session
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Lunch provided in a MSU dining hall and explore campus
1 - 3 p.m.: Student academic session
1 - 3 p.m.: Family/supporters information session
3 - 4:30 p.m.: Tours and explore campus

A more detailed schedule will be sent to you via email after you register.

New Student Connect Day isn’t required, but it’s the perfect chance for students, families, and supporters to dive deeper into the IAT experience and enjoy a day on MSU’s campus.
