This program will provide officials, staff and community leaders with valuable information about current and projected issues impacting our water systems, current planning efforts at the national, state, tribal and local level, and tools and assessments available for communities to use when planning for the future of their water systems. This program will provide special presentations about the following:
- The American Water Works Association 2050 Initiative;
- Examples of resilient planning projects and policies at the state, tribal and local level;
- Scenario planning examples that address water disruptions;
- The USDA Forest Service's 'Forests to Faucets' Assessment Tool for Communities
Cost: $40 per person. This includes materials, a lunch and AICP accreditation.
Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to the event start date will not be refunded.
