2025 Michigan 4-H/FFA Horse Judging Contest

In the state horse judging contest, participants can demonstrate their equine evaluation and selection skills, as well as improve their communication and decision-making skills. This contest will include both individual and team competition.Divisions:
- 4-H Juniors
- Ages 8-13 as of January 1
- 4-H Seniors
- Ages 14-19 as of January 1
- FFA Junior High
- Currently in 7th or 8th grade
- FFA High School
- Currently in grades 9-12
- Novice (Junior and Senior)
- Junior Novice
- Ages 8-13 as of January 1, this is the first time competing in the State contest
- Senior Novice
- Ages 14-19 as of January 1, this is the first time competing in the State Contest
- Junior Novice
- Cloverbuds
- Age 5-7 as of January 1, non-competitive
TENTATIVE CLASS LIST (classes subject to change due to horse availability)
1. Stock Type Geldings at Halter
2. Arabian Mare/Geldings at Halter
3. Clydesdale Mares at Halter
4. Morgan Mares/Geldings at Halter
5. Arabian Hunter Pleasure
6. Ranch Rail
7. Arabian Country Pleasure
8. Western Horsemanship
COST: $10 per person at the time of registration. Due March 7th. No Refunds will be given
**This fee allows contestants to compete in both the 4-H and FFA division if eligible.
Registrations with incorrect or incomplete information will not be accepted.
Entries must be submitted by March 7th. Every individual that will be judging must have a complete registration.
