Marquette County Youth in Government Day

April 30, 2021
9 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST

This free program is geared toward high school students and their Social Studies teachers. Participants will join a zoom meeting where they will use Mentimeter to interact with the presenters and one another. They will also go into breakout rooms to debate a topic of interest to young people. They will also vote on this topic. Students and teachers will be introduced to various Marquette County Government staff members. They will learn about what goes into these jobs and have a chance to ask questions. Finally, students will meet members of the Marquette County Board and have a discussion with them as well.
