ONLINE Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise combining slow movement, deep breathing, and focused intention.
This program introduces 12 introductory tai chi moves over 20 sessions.
- Increases strength
- Increases balance and posture
- Prevents falls
- Improves mind, body, an spirit
- Reduces stress and increases relaxation
This program is designed to help older adults at risk for falls to stay active. An introductory tai chi sequence of 12 moves will be taught.
Participants must attend with their video camera on for safety purposes and to enhance the group learning experience. Participants are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible to experience the wide range of health benefits of tai chi. Modifications will be provided for those who want to participate seated or standing.
