Mindfulness for Children

Thursday, June 10, 2021
5 - 6:30 p.m. ET

Mindfulness for Better Living Online One Time Workshops

Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment and nonjudgmentally. Research has shown that practicing mindfulness is effective in reducing stress-related symptoms such as worry, depression and physical tension, and may be helpful in managing chronic conditions. Mindfulness for Better Living includes a suite of one-time workshops to help people learn ways to use mindfulness to manage everyday stress.

Mindfulness for Parents and Caregivers

This workshop is designed to introduce basic mindfulness concepts, activities and publications to parents and caregivers of young children. Participants will learn the benefits of mindfulness for both children and adults as well as explore ways to teach children mindfulness.
