4-H Paddling Safety and Invasive Species Class

Join us at Independence Oaks County Park for a hands-on outdoor learning experience!
 
Youth participants will:
  •  Learn essential kayak safety skills
  •  Practice proper paddling techniques 
  •  Discover how invasive species impact our lakes and waterways
  •  Learn how to help protect Michigan’s natural resources

Cost: $10

Registrations cancelled after May 29 will incur a $5 cancellation fee.

Adult 4-H volunteers are welcome to assist, contact Jordan at Hewittj8@msu.edu for details, This is a great opportunity to build confidence on the water while strengthening environmental stewardship skills. Get ready to paddle, learn, and lead!
