This special 4-day camp will teach youth
to fish and protect our Great Lakes.
All campers will receive fishing rod with reel,
tackle box, camp T-shirt, and snacks!
Camp Sessions will include casting, tackle crafting, fish anatomy,
aquatic ecology, angler ethics, stewardship campaigns, and more.
Campers will participate in a field trip to a private lake
to catch and release on July 19. Transportation is provided.
This camp is open to youth from Bay or Saginaw counties between the ages of 8 and 12 as of Jan. 1, 2018.
Youth do not have to be 4-H members to participate.
The deadline to register is July 9, 2018. Space is limited to 30 participants.
Campers should bring a reusable water bottle and wear sunscreen, hat, comfortable clothing. Most importantly, campers should plan to have fun!
