4-H Trail Cameras 101 SPIN Club

ABOUT THE CLUB: During the Trail Cameras 101 SPIN Club, youth will learn how to contribute to science by examining trail camera footage and other observation methods. Members can use their own cameras if they have them, or use footage collected by MSU staff! Members will receive a supply kit in the mail containing materials for activities and to support extended learning. Michigan AmeriCorps members and 4-H volunteers will lead the meetings from 5-6 p.m EST Thursdays from March 4 until April 8.

This club will meet virtually via Zoom (both computer and smartphone accessible) every Thursday for six weeks. Zoom Meetings will be limited to youth who have enrolled on 4-H Online (4-H Online Link) for the club. Access information, including meeting links/passwords, the material list, and other information, will only be emailed to those who have enrolled on 4-H Online. Failure to enroll may result in you not receiving the email updates or removal of the club. 

If you are new to 4-H and not sure how to enroll, please click on this video link which will show you step by step how to enroll. There is no membership fee to be a Michigan 4-H Member for the 2020-2021 program year. 

For existing 4-H members, please make sure you have re-enrolled for the 2020-2021 program year. Here is a video link to show you how to re-enroll for this program year. 

The online meeting will be held using Zoom and the meeting details will be emailed within 2 business days once you are registered for the club.

DATES:  March 4, 11, 18, 25, and April 1, 8

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE: Any youth between the ages of 9 - 13 should join the 4-H Trail Cameras 101 SPIN Club.
