4-H Market Livestock Through a Business Lens

This one-hour zoom program is open to youth ages 8-19 in Michigan 4-H.

This online program is open to any youth ages 8-19. We will cover the following topics, relating them to your 4-H market livestock project: 
  • How to get started
  • Types of Organizations 
  • What makes a business concept?
  • The cost of doing business
  • Money Decisions and risk management
  • Money management skills
  • Credit and cash flow
  • Business credit vs. personal credit
This workshop meets educational requirements for Kalkaska County 4-H youth marketing an animal.  (Please check with your local county program or club leader about requirements in your county).

Zoom link for connection will be sent via email after successful registration for the workshop, as well as a reminder the day before the program.
