74th Michigan Onsite Wastewater Conference

The Michigan Onsite Wastewater Conference will be held, Jan. 6-7, 2026. This annual conference is an in-person event running for more than 70 years, bringing together hundreds of practitioners from all sectors of the onsite wastewater industry. This two-day educational conference is planned specifically for local health departments, septic tank service providers/pumpers, portable toilet service companies, local public health, engineers, consultants, installation contractors and other interested parties. Learn the latest in onsite wastewater industry trends, regulatory changes, wastewater management options and the latest technologies.
During the conference, you can visit with vendors related to the onsite wastewater management industry and participate in several educational offerings. Hear key updates from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) and national wastewater organizations, as well as a broad range of topics.
Attendees have the ability to earn CSE credit hours by attending the conference, pending approval by MI EGLE.
Registration
Registration for the full conference is $225 per person, prior to December 5. On or after December 5, the full conference per person rate will increase to $260. Registration includes both days of the conference, including the keynote presentations, the option to choose several educational breakout sessions, the vendor show, social reception, access to one-on-one time with EGLE staff, as well as refreshments throughout the two days and complimentary parking at the Kellogg Center. One day registrations are also available at a rate of $160 per day.
Lodging
Discounted lodging is available at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center for Michigan Onsite Wastewater Conference attendees. Rooms start at $129 per night and will be available until the block sells out or December 5, whichever occurs first. Parking
Onsite parking is available in the parking garage attached to the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. Guests with overnight lodging accommodations will be provided a parking pass as part of the lodging fee. For those attendees not staying overnight at the Kellogg Center, instructions for parking will be included in the final details email.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds for attendees will be given on or after Dec. 18, 2025, however registrations may be transferred to another individual.
