Thank you for your interest in this event! Aquaculture is a powerful teaching tool and this workshop will equip science teachers to have a baseline understanding of aquaculture and aquaponics. The workshop will include tours of aquaculture facilities at Purdue University and nearby along with information on how to run a successful aquaponics set up, and information on how to utilize aquaculture and aquaponics in the classroom. There will be several hands-on labs throughout the event and teachers will walk away with a free small scale aquaponics system that we will build as part of the workshop. Teachers will also receive a $250 stipend that can be used to offset travel or to purchase classroom equipment.
LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE FOR THIS WORKSHOP. DO NOT REGISTER UNLESS YOU ARE FULLY COMMITTING TO ATTEND THE FULL WORKSHOP.
