Upper Peninsula Food Summit

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET

The Northern Center on the campus of Northern Michigan University
1401 Presque Isle Ave.
Marquette, MI 49855

The Upper Peninsula Food Exchange (UPFE) welcomes you to join us for the Upper Peninsula Food Summit. We are gathering to celebrate local food, to highlight food system projects, and to network with each other. UPFE brings together community members, farmers, food producers, food industry workers, advocates, researchers, and policy makers. Lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. This event is free to register and is supported by the USDA Regional Food Systems Partnership Grant "Food SPICE: Food Systems Partners Investing in Communities and Entrepreneurs."

Please register all members of your party separately (so we can get an accurate count for lunch and dietary restrictions). Some attendees may need to bring their children in order to participate. We welcome families who wish to attend and will offer activities for youth.

Agenda highlights: presentations from ongoing food systems projects and organizations, interactive demonstrations, and panel discussions.

Check upfoodexchange.com for updates about the event.

Registration for Upper Peninsula Food Summit is open.

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on March 26, 2023.
