Horticulture Trivia Night - November 2026

Description: Join MSU Extension for the first of our Winter '25-'26 monthly trivia series about gardening. This is a chance to test your knowledge about all things plants, insects, and garden related in Michigan. There will be 30 multiple choice questions/answers during this live event and a prize awarded to the top two scorers. Trivia night is open to gardening enthusiasts, trivia lovers, Extension Master Gardeners, or anyone else who wants to play.
How it works: After registering, you will be sent a Zoom webinar link for this event. You will need a second device (phone or tablet) to answer the live trivia questions using a polling website called Kahoot. During the first few minutes of the event, there will be a demonstration of how to join and submit answers. Scoring is based on the correct answer and the speed at which an answer is entered. Please arrive by 7:05 p.m. to join the trivia game on time.
Cost: $5
Free for the first 50 Michigan Extension Master Gardeners (your certification will be verified after registration)
Prize: The first and second place will receive $25 electronic gift cards to the garden center or seed company of their choice. Prize winners are welcome to join for future Horticulture Trivia nights but are ineligible to win a prize more than once per season.

Accommodations
Reasonable modifications/accommodations for program access, including alternative formats formaterials, and auxiliary aids for effective communication will be provided to participants at no cost. Requests may be submitted by filling out the box below or by emailing the event contact using the email address provided on the event registration and/or confirmation page at least two weeks prior to the event. Requests received less than two weeks prior to the event date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and provided when reasonable.
