Dec. 11, 2019, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ford Center, 21235 Alberta Ave # 2, L'Anse, MI 49946

We are looking forward seeing you all at our annual December all-U.P. staff meetings on December 10th & 11th

This year we are having Cindy Hudson from Sea Grant providing training on the book “The Power of Positive Confrontation”.   Cindy provided a workshop session on this same book that both Erin Carter and Paul Putnam attended at the Sea Grant meeting in September.  The purpose of this session is to gain additional skills and techniques for our staff to get better at our jobs, and the people we work with.  NOTE:  Subject to change based on presenter schedule.

Books have been sent to each MSUE U.P. county office, and it is expected that staff will read the book prior to attending the December meetings.  It is a light and quick read, and should be something that you all take seriously.   Please take the time to read this book.

Please note we have two options for U.P. Staff - choose the one that works best for your schedule:

Tuesday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. EST (9 a.m. - 2 p.m. CST) at the MSU Extension Office in Newberry OR, Wednesday, Dec. 11, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. EST (9 a.m.-2 p.m. CST) at the Ford Center, Alberta.

Lunch will be included or you are welcome to bring your own.

There may be a brief meeting after our training for SNAP-Ed and 4-H Staff with their supervisors. If you fall into this category, your supervisor will communicate with you.

Please register by Wednesday, Dec. 4 so we have an accurate lunch count.
