Night Hikes on the Farm is a series of bi-monthly events that offer educational and recreational opportunities for visitors to venture the farm in the nighttime and explore fascinating natural science topics. The hikes will take place the last Friday of every other month. These events are open to the public and will particularly appeal to scout groups, families, and anyone with a thirst for knowledge and adventure. Each hike will incorporate different themes fitting to the month or season and will include light snacks and beverages. Please see details below for the schedule, and pre-register for one or more of the hikes.
  • February 22nd - 6 p.m. - Experiments in the Dark
  • April 26th - 8 p.m. - Frog Calls and Bug Watch
  • June 28th 8 p.m. - Nightlife and Wilderness Skills
  • August 30th - 8 p.m. - Batty About Bats
  • October 25th - 6 p.m. - Owl Prowl and Folklore
  • December 28th - 6 p.m. - Constellations of the Night Sky
Cost: $8 per person
