Smart Gardening with Bulbs - GVDS

Welcome Grand Valley Daylily Society!

We hope you can join us for a one-hour Smart Gardening with Bulbs presentation by Rebecca Finneran, MSU Extension Senior Horticulture Educator. This online presentation will be offered on Thursday, May 31, 2021 from 7 - 8 p.m. EST.

Gardens Rich with Color are Full of Bulbs!
Invite early spring pollinators to your garden with dazzling bulbs!! Early season bulbs such as Crocus and Allium provide amazing color while enhancing floral resources for native bees and pollinators. Spring comes to life with daffodils and colorful tulips, yet beauty from bulbs does not end there as the rich color of bulbs can continue from spring through autumn with thoughtful planning of your purchases. Join us to explore a rich pallet of interest and seasonal color that may surprise you!

  • A computer or laptop with the latest version of your browser.  Tablet is an option but not ideal for viewing
  • A reliable, internet connection - broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
  • Webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USP plug-in
  • Speakers and a microphone - built-in or USB plug-in

First time Zoom users: Never used Zoom before? No worries. Registrants will be emailed an overview of how to get started, complete with screen shots. Plus, there’s a help line to contact if you encounter any difficulties.
