Thank you for your interest in the upcoming 4-H Tollgate Intro to Orienteering happening on October 11th from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Tollgate Farm and Education Center.
This fun, beginner-friendly event is a great way to explore the outdoors while learning basic navigation and map-reading skills. Orienteering is like a nature-based treasure hunt where participants use a map and compass to find checkpoints across a course—perfect for youth, families, and clubs looking for a new adventure! For youth ages 8 yrs and up, under 12 yrs old please bring your favorite adult to accompany you. There will be a short introduction to compass and map reading from 10-10:30 a.m. and then an open introductory course from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. that participants can start at their leisure.
Cost: $5.00
Registrations cancelled after Oct. 1 will not be refunded.
