2021 MSU Tollgate Farm 4-H Stewards Sustainability Leadership Institute

So, what is this sustainability thing really all about? How do you as a young leader create positive sustainability outcomes? What does it mean to be a good steward at home, at school, at the farm? How can environmental stewardship be a part of the farm? How do all careers and fields of study encompass sustainability?

Learning about sustainability means “creating, integrating, and harnessing new knowledge to protect and improve social and natural systems and their interactions” (Teton Science Schools). Join us in 2021 for a leadership institute to answer these questions and expand your ability to make a positive difference in the world around you. Join like-minded high school peers and explore how all careers and fields of study encompass sustainability. This fun and challenging leadership summit is for teens ages 15-19 who love adventure. Includes virtual sessions on sustainability, leadership roles at camp, a mentorship model, a multi-day outdoor wilderness team-building experience, campus visits, a certificate of complete, and a capstone sustainability action project.

The Stewards Sustainability Leadership Institute is the advanced level of the progressive Tollgate Teen Leadership Program.
